Witchcraft - the Hungarian Black Metal legend

The legendary Hungarian Black Metal force Witchcraft returns to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

When the history of Hungarian black metal is discussed, names like Tormentor and Sear Bliss inevitably arise—but the conversation must continue with Witchcraft. Formed in Budapest in 1996, the band has long secured its place among the pioneers of the underground. Their debut album “Years Of Blood” was released exactly twenty years ago, leaving an indelible mark on the Hungarian Black Metal scene.

To commemorate this milestone, the undead spirit of Witchcraft once again rises from its dusty coffin to deliver justice in the name of the unholy cult of Hungarian Black Metal.

As part of this special anniversary, the band's first and second albums (Years Of Blood & Under the Crust) will be released on vinyl for the very first time by the Transylvanian tyrant Sun & Moon Records. In addition, both records will once again be available on CD, giving fans and collectors a chance to own these essential pieces of Hungarian Black Metal history.
